Stowe Provisions is first and foremost an expression of love for all things Americana.  Stowe Provisions was founded by Mark Stowe and Mark Howard in 2003 in Austin, TX.  The two lifelong friends have been nurtured by strong midwestern roots, the sights and sounds of the highways and byways of the New American West, and the persistent exploration of those voices that constitute the collective folk narrative of America's Invisible Republic.   

Like the authors, painters, and musicians who've inspired Stowe Provisions through their lasting works that cumulatively define an ever-changing meaning of what it is to be American, Stowe Provisions want to make something that lasts both physically and contextually.   

As well thought out as every product is, even more time has been put into its construction.  Beginning with quality American-tanned natural hides, the two friends who founded the brand hand-craft every part of each product.  Meaning the same two guys who thought to reference Kurt Vonnegut, Margaret Kilgallen, and a roadside rock-outcrop in the same product line also hand-cut, hand-dyed, and even hand-painted the product you're holding.
